Our founder wanted to brew the country’s best beer, so he moved to the country’s least beer drinking state, and named us after a mountain range that even people here mispronounce (you-in-tuh). Uinta Brewing was founded in 1993 in an old mechanic’s garage in Salt Lake City, today we are Utah’s largest brewer.

Our itch for adventure helps us dream up bold new beers and approach our tried-and-true brews with fresh eyes (and taste buds). We’re modern pioneers, what we’re after isn’t always the untouched, it’s balance and precision. Because let’s face it, a well-crafted life deserves well-crafted beer.

Life is about living experiences worth reliving—and having the perfect beer to pair those experiences with. The journey, for us, is the process. Good beer requires state-of-the-art brewing equipment, quality ingredients and talent. But GREAT beer is brewed with environmental stewardship, support for community and a whole lot of passion.

We’ve been humming along on 100% renewable energy since 2001, starting with wind and then adding solar to the mix. But we haven’t stopped there, designing equipment over the years to make the brewing process go down as smooth as an ice-cold Pils. Our state of the art Belgian BreauKon brewing system was designed to brew beer efficiently by cutting down on wasted time and energy. From capturing and recycling steam from one brewing cycle to heat the next batch, donating spent grain to a local rancher, and utilizing a centrifuge that filters the beer without chemicals, we’re always looking for ways to make better beer in a way that is better for the planet.

HOP NOSH IPA is our flagship IPA and boasts an assertive bitterness and vibrant hop aromatics. Expect notes of pine, lime zest, and grapefruit supported by caramel malts.

HAZY NOSH IPA with big, juicy hop aromas of mango, orange and pineapple juice, Hazy Nosh features low bitterness with a soft mouthfeel and a velvety, opaque appearance.
